“Great sound of 90s rock, country-grunge, but with a twist of down to earth country boys. Rock n roll that's dirty, true, and home-grown."
- Review of a Hyway 14 show
Hailing from south-central Kansas, Hyway 14 has been filling stages with their unique sound since 2021. Since debuting with their EP “Here I Go” in 2022, they have continued to evolve and refine their sound. In 2024, they released their first full length album” Construction Paper Town,” showcasing their ‘90s grunge influences on tracks like “Digging” and “Hold On” and their red-dirt roots with tracks like “Within” and “Is This The End.” In 2025, they released “Purge,” tapping into the heavier side of their sound.
In August 2026, Hyway 14 releases their EP, "Background Noise." Refining the country/grunge sound they have become known for. Particularly evident on tracks like "You Just Might," and their fan-favorite cover of John Anderson's "Seminole Wind."
Combining their love of ‘90s and 2000s grunge and alternative with their red-dirt country roots, Hyway 14 has created a unique sound that they have fondly dubbed “cowboy grunge” and “shred-dirt.”
Fronted by brothers, Asher and Asa Fall, Hyway 14 brings a high energy live show that combines their gritty, country vocals, grungy guitars, powerful drums, and tight harmonies. Whether it’s a crowd pleasing cover, or their genre blending originals. Hyway 14 continues to challenge genre norms and garner fans along the way.
