We did a series of posts about our new album, CONSTRUCTION PAPER TOWN, to talk about each song in the order we wrote them.

Construction Paper Town Post #1:
We'll start with our oldest song on the album, "WHAT HAPPENED?"
Asa wrote this song in 2021, during the first summer we started playing shows, and first performed it at Yoder Days. It's still fun to think back to how it all started.
Construction Paper Town Post #2:
"IS THIS THE END?" was written in 2021, as well. Asa wanted to add a song with harmonica to the line-up. That first summer we wrote a lot of songs and then performed them two weeks later, ready or not, and made changes as we went. We've been playing it at almost every show since!
Construction Paper Town Post #3:
Asher wrote "LIVING TODAY" in 2021, as well. It was one of those songs that kind of wrote itself. It was a fun day in the studio when our good buddy, Kade, happened to be in town to help us out with this one!
Construction Paper Town Post #4:
It seems songs come easier on the road. Asher wrote "HOLD ON" on a trip to Topeka to see Andrew Peterson in concert after thinking how a song idea just sits right there in front of you waiting to be sung before you lose it. It seemed the same thing is true in life. Better not let things pass by that you need to hold on to.
